Carry Me
What is this light full of darkness, this day full of night?
And how can it be that this heart once so full now feels empty inside?
Freedom bound by the chains of thoughts and emotions
And hope imprisoned by walls of despair
So carry me
Carry me
Carry me
Out of the darkness and into the light again
Help me believe again, help me receive again
Who is this girl facing into the storm before her?
Sure-footed foundations give way to these sands of uncertainty
Somehow she’s lost her way in what she thought she knew
And so faced with this ocean she cries to her pilot to carry her through
Who is this man standing silently on the far shore?
His eyes full of kindness, His arms reaching further than this sea
Beckoning to the one that His love has set free
Won't You carry me to the place where You want me to be?
