Horizon Searching

Maybe if we talked for a while
You would see that I have been dreaming lately
trying to peace the parts of my life
That have brought me to this place
I have found that plans become past
And mostly life refuses to fit so neatly
So once again I'm looking beyond
To seek out my destiny

I'm not star, star gazing; I'm horizon searching
I'm not star, star gazing; I'm horizon searching

Maybe if we walked for a while
I could see the world that you see so clearly
Then perhaps the path would unfold
And I'd run to where you are
But could it be I've got it all wrong
For it's in the unseen I must trust completely
So here am I, come take me from here
Lead me on, lead me on

Looking back on the delights and disappointment
The enjoyment of the good things
That I never sought but seemed to find me
I press on to destinations and discoveries
Casting down my expectations
Of what the future holds for me
